Architectural Designer – New York

About the role

Our New York office is seeking a creative and multifaceted Designer with 4‑6 years of professional experience and strong Revit skills. The role offers the chance to work on high‑level design projects, collaborate with senior team members, and mentor junior staff in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist schematic design, including programming, space planning, and building massing.
• Develop design development documents such as detailed space layouts and exterior façade designs.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineers as well as other technical consultants.
• Prepare construction documents with exterior and interior details, ensuring coordination with structural and MEP systems.
• Assist with zoning and building code analyses.
• Research materials and construction details.
• Support construction administration by reviewing submittals (shop drawings, product data, samples) to maintain design intent.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• 4‑6 years of professional experience, preferably in multi‑family residential and mixed‑use developments.
• Strong Revit proficiency and experience managing models and coordination with multiple consultants.
• Fluency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent graphic presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with building codes is a plus.
