Analytics Engineer

About the role

As an Analytics Engineer at Clair, you will sit at the intersection of engineering and analytics, building data pipelines and modeling clean, trustworthy data sets. You will collaborate with product, operations, finance, and analytics teams to improve data quality and support decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Model product data into flexible, trusted analytic reporting tables.
• Maintain and extend ELT pipelines that move data from source systems into Snowflake, including CDC streams and batch ingestion.
• Develop and schedule Python jobs for data processing and automation.
• Support the data science team by building feature pipelines.
• Identify and optimize Snowflake cost bottlenecks.
• Contribute to and maintain a code style guide across dbt projects.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of professional experience in data analytics.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• 1‑2 years hands‑on experience modeling data with dbt in production.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
• Familiarity with data ingestion/orchestration tools like Airbyte, Kafka, and Airflow.
