Advanced Software Engineer – Cloud Applications

About the role

Invesco’s Distribution Engineering team is looking for an Advanced Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise‑grade applications and APIs in a modern, cloud‑based environment. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, delivering secure, scalable, and high‑performance solutions that enable critical business capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance applications, APIs, and services using modern cloud technologies.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Ensure code, documentation, and quality standards are consistently applied.
• Collaborate with project managers to review timelines, communicate progress, and flag risks.
• Support user acceptance testing and perform quality assurance on peer deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for system support and business continuity.

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in application development.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and proactive attitude.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end software solutions in a collaborative environment.
