About the role
Join a respected Washington, DC association as the first face and voice for clients, visitors, and staff. You will ensure a welcoming environment while supporting daily operations, meetings, events, and leadership initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Answer and route calls, manage shared inboxes, and serve as the central hub for office communications.
- Maintain communal areas, including kitchen and supply closets, fully stocked and organized.
- Manage conference‑room schedules, set up meetings, and provide AV support.
- Assist with event coordination and general office needs.
- Support leadership with document preparation, scheduling, expense reports, and special projects such as data management.
- Liaise with vendors and building management to keep office operations running smoothly.
Required profile
- Customer‑service mindset with at least three years of administrative or similar experience.
- Professional polish, confident and composed in a high‑standards environment.
- Precision‑focused, organized, and proactive.
- Dependable and resourceful, able to juggle priorities and solve problems quickly.
