About the role
Barclays is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide high‑level support to five Managing Directors in its New York office. The role involves managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings, and ensuring seamless communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and organise detailed executive calendars, respond to meeting invitations and schedule changes.
- Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation and ground transportation.
- Prepare documents, presentations and executive‑level PowerPoint decks.
- Draft and capture accurate meeting minutes and distribute follow‑up actions.
- Handle expense reporting, budget tracking and basic financial reporting.
- Facilitate communication between senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate executive needs.
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ChatGPT and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced PowerPoint creation skills for executive presentations.
- Ability to manage travel logistics and expense reporting.
What we offer
