Adjunct Lecturer – Counseling (Part‑time)

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock seeks an Adjunct Lecturer to teach courses in the Counseling and Counselor Education tracks of its Counseling Program. This part‑time position (0.25 FTE) involves delivering one class per semester within the School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver undergraduate or graduate counseling courses.
• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain compliance with university, state, and federal regulations.

Required profile

• PhD in Counseling or a closely related field (preferably CACREP‑accredited), or a PhD in Counselor Education.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree with at least three years of relevant fieldwork teaching experience.
• Valid state license in the applicable counseling discipline.

Required skills

• Graduate‑level online teaching experience.
• Professional experience in the CRC (Counseling, Rehabilitation, and Community) field.
