About the role
The Account Development Specialist‑2 is the sales lead for an assigned portfolio within a targeted account base. The role focuses on increasing share and velocity of assigned beverage commodities by planning and executing brand activations, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering market‑driven growth.
Key responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share for the assigned portfolio, spending the majority of time in market.
- Serve as the expert consultant for beverage and marketing strategies, researching trends and category insights.
- Present new products, conduct monthly business reviews, and collaborate with trade development and sales management on brand launches.
- Plan high‑end consumer activations within key accounts to elevate category awareness.
- Gather real‑time market insights to inform growth initiatives.
- Lead, organize, and report field intelligence for the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with on‑premise and retail sales teams to develop creative solutions that drive business.
- Develop and deliver training modules on sales trends to internal and external partners.
- Establish merchandising objectives, analyze account needs, and increase category share and velocity.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and participate in supplier‑specific sales calls.
Required profile
- Proven experience in sales or account development within the beverage or consumer goods sector.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with ability to influence key gatekeepers.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to translate market data into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a full‑time, market‑focused schedule.
