Zone Installation Specialist – Medical Imaging (Midwest Travel)

About the role

Join Philips Healthcare as a Zone Installation Specialist covering the Midwest Zone (IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD, WI). You will install, service, and support medical imaging equipment, ensuring customers receive top‑class service and rapid issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and execute the installation process for assigned imaging modalities, establishing rapport with customers.
• Perform administrative duties such as timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, and documentation within Philips and regulatory timeframes.
• Travel up to 100% of the time, including possible weekend stays and occasional international trips.

Required profile

• 1+ years experience in diagnostic imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical industries; MRI experience highly preferred.
• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
• Ability to work in hospital/healthcare environments and comply with safety requirements for radiation sources.

Required skills

• Electronic, mechanical, and networking theory applied to installation, diagnosis, and repair.
• Use of specialized tools and test equipment for medical imaging systems.
• Proficiency with MRI equipment installation and service.
