Yoga Instructor & Personal Trainer

About the role

The Troubadour Golf & Field Club, a Discovery Land Company location near Nashville, TN, is seeking a qualified Yoga Instructor/Personal Trainer to join its Fitness Department. In this role you will lead yoga classes, deliver personalized training sessions, and design customized fitness programs that support members and their guests in achieving healthy, active lifestyles.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one personal training sessions.
• Lead group yoga classes for members and guests.
• Teach proper equipment use and demonstrate exercises with clear instructions.
• Develop individualized and small‑group fitness programs aligned with client goals.
• Perform client screenings, assessments, and ongoing progress evaluations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock of the fitness center, including towels and refreshments.
• Handle daily set‑up and breakdown of fitness areas and report safety or maintenance issues promptly.

Required profile

• College degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field (preferred).
• Current personal training certification from a recognized agency (e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA, etc.).
• 500‑hour yoga teacher certification.
• Current first aid, CPR, and safety certifications.
• Proven experience designing individual and small‑group fitness programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping clients meet health and fitness goals.
