Wellness Nurse (LPN) - Part-Time and Per-Diem

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a Wellness Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and help supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of care staff. The position is led by the community's Health and Wellness Director (RN) and is available part-time and/or per-diem, on all shifts, at $32.00-$36.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the health, safety and well-being of all residents
• Make rounds to see each resident daily and as needed
• Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate care
• Supervise care staff in line with state regulations and community policies
• Maintain clinical quality assurance under federal, state and local standards
• Conduct thorough resident assessments

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license
• At least 2 years' experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital settings preferred
• Ability to work with residents with Alzheimer's or other related dementias
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and knowledge of federal and state regulations and nursing practice
• Physical ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs and support residents

Required skills
