Wellness Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time, 3-11 PM

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) as its Wellness Nurse, reporting to the community's Clinical Services Director. The nurse provides direct nursing care to residents with an emphasis on holistic wellness and helps supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of certified nursing assistants. The schedule is 3-11 p.m., paid at $30.00-$34.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the health, safety and well-being of all residents
• Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration
• Supervise care staff in line with state regulations and community policies
• Maintain clinical quality assurance under federal, state and local standards
• Conduct thorough resident assessments
• Promote high-quality service to residents while demonstrating the company's mission

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license
• At least 2 years' experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital settings preferred
• Ability to work with residents with Alzheimer's or other related dementias
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and knowledge of federal and state regulations and nursing practice
• Physical demands: often standing, walking, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs and supporting residents
