About the role
This position offers a dynamic career at Philips' Latham, New York site, where magnetic resonance imaging magnets are manufactured. The role is onsite on the 2nd shift, Monday‑Friday, 3:20 pm‑11:30 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Complete high‑quality TIG and MIG welds using precision instruments.
- Perform cutting, bending, drilling, tapping, and related operations to fabricate intricate cryogenic assemblies.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and supporting documentation.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of welding experience with mechanical assembly tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to produce vacuum‑tight TIG welds on aluminum.
- Experience operating bridge cranes and forklift trucks and following documented assembly procedures.
