Supplier Quality Manager

About the role

In this role you are responsible for overseeing supplier partners' high‑quality performance by applying Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) during product industrialization, driving continuous quality improvement throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, and identifying improvement opportunities through CoNQ data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical capability assessments of potential new suppliers and lead supplier selection.
• Supervise and control APQP plans for new product introductions and sustaining changes, ensuring consistent quality.
• Foster collaboration between R&D and suppliers through Design for Excellence (DfX) initiatives.
• Communicate Critical to Quality (CtQ) characteristics to suppliers and oversee Part Submission Warrant (PSW) plans.
• Negotiate Supplier Quality Agreements, conduct defect analyses, and review Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR).
• Initiate supplier improvement projects, monitor performance, assess quality risks, and maintain audit schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, safety, process engineering or continuous improvement.
• 3+ years of management experience in Supplier Quality Management, APQP/PPAP, medical device regulations, and data analysis.

• Base salary range $120,000 – $170,400 per year.
