Product Quality Inspection Technician – 1st Shift

About the role

The In‑Process Quality Inspection Technician for our Magnetic Resonance Imaging business performs a variety of quality inspection and documentation tasks during manufacturing to reduce defects and increase product quality consistency. This is a full‑time, 1st‑shift (7:20 am‑3:30 pm, Mon‑Fri) onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Measure parts and tools accurately using micrometers, calipers and other hand tools following engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Conduct quality inspections in SAP to maintain timely and precise inventory tracking.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained, addressing any issues promptly.
• Document and organize inspection results clearly, adhering to Good Documentation Practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, participate in audits, report quality issues and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical device, automotive, aerospace).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Physical ability to meet job demands with or without accommodation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Knowledge of metrology, materials, calibration, auditing and inspection techniques.
