About the role
The Welcome Center Representative joins the YMCA Membership Sales & Service team to greet members, manage check‑ins, and support sales during night and weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Greet members with a friendly demeanor and enforce safety and membership policies.
- Handle member and non‑member phone calls, conduct tours, and process cash transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Attend staff meetings, work independently, and fill in for uncovered shifts, including opening and closing.
Required profile
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on listening and making members feel welcome.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and solve problems independently.
