Weekend Start of Care Registered Nurse – Home Health Visits

About the role

This per‑diem weekend position provides start‑of‑care home health visits for patients in Washington County, Maryland. The RN will conduct at least two visits each weekend, delivering 1:1 care and supporting patients’ recovery in their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform home visits according to a designated care plan, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments.
• Assess client conditions, document observations, and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Execute and document physicians’ orders, manage case coordination, and maintain accurate records using a tablet‑based EMR system.

Required profile

• Current Maryland RN license.
• Minimum one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to assigned cases.

Required skills

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
