Weekend Start of Care Registered Nurse for Home Health Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to perform weekend Start of Care (Admission) visits for adult and geriatric clients in Howard County, Maryland. The role involves providing skilled nursing care in clients' homes from Thursday through Sunday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home visits following each client’s care plan, administering medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor client conditions, report changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager, and document observations using a tablet.
• Execute and document physicians’ orders, perform client assessments, and coordinate case management.

Required profile

• Current Maryland RN license with at least one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to assigned cases.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solid computer proficiency.

Required skills

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
