Weekend Start of Care Physical Therapist – Home Health Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a per‑diem, weekend Start of Care role providing home health visits in Anne Arundel County, MD. The position involves delivering rehabilitative care to clients in their homes, ensuring they can remain safely at home.

Key responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, including range of motion, strength, balance, and safety assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions.
• Educate clients and families on rehabilitative care and independent living strategies.
• Accurately document observations and interventions using a state‑of‑the‑art touch‑pad tablet.

Required profile

• Current Maryland Physical Therapist license.
• Minimum one year of recent clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Graduation from an APTA‑approved PT program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Solid computer skills, including use of tablet documentation tools.
