Per-Diem Start of Care RN – Home Health Visits

About the role

This per‑diem position is focused exclusively on Start of Care visits for home health patients in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The RN will work independently, providing 1:1 care while enjoying a flexible schedule and strong work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Start of Care home visits following each patient’s care plan.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and carry out treatments and procedures.
• Monitor client conditions, report changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager, and document all observations on a tablet.
• Execute and document physicians’ orders, perform assessments, and coordinate case management.

Required profile

• Current Maryland RN license.
• At least one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to assigned cases.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solid computer proficiency.

Required skills

• Home health and Medicare OASIS experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and tablet documentation.
