Weekend Home Health Aide - 1st and 3rd Shift

About the role

AdvisaCare is hiring Home Health Aides for weekend shifts only (Friday to Monday), working the 1st and 3rd shifts. The role provides hands-on care to one client at a time in the patient's residence, with shift work available.

Key responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients' residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Accompany patients to the doctor's office or hospital
• Administer simple prescribed medications
• Assist with clients' personal care activities
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
• Maintain care records and document services provided
• Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Required profile

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a team, responsibly and independently
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel within the service area
• Ability to pass a drug screen and have a clear background
