Web Tools Programmer

About the role

We are looking for a Web Tools Programmer to own the design, development and deployment of full‑stack web applications that streamline our game development pipelines. Working closely with engineers and artists, you will extend internal tools, integrate with our runtime codebase and build reliable backend services that support asset management, build pipelines and large‑scale game data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack web applications and integrations that enhance development workflows.
• Extend and customize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) via plugins, REST APIs and automation.
• Investigate, optimise and ensure reliability of distributed internal‑tool systems.
• Design and maintain relational, document and cache databases supporting tools and analytics.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to translate workflows into scalable solutions.
• Prioritise and manage multiple projects independently while contributing to long‑term architecture.
• Share knowledge on tool development, infrastructure best practices and debugging complex integrations.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in the video‑game industry.
• Hands‑on experience administering Jira (workflows, permissions, automation).
• Proven ability to prototype and iterate quickly on front‑end web tools.

Required skills

• Full‑stack web development (frontend and backend).
• Atlassian plugin development for Jira and Confluence.
• REST API design and integration.
• Distributed systems troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Database design for relational, document and cache stores.
