Web Applications Developer II

About the role

The Web Applications Developer II will design, develop, and maintain web‑based applications for Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, ensuring functionality, accessibility, and responsive design.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and enhance new and existing web functionality and applications.
• Provide support and ongoing maintenance for web applications.
• Gather and analyze requirements from university departments, faculty, and staff.
• Ensure all web features comply with accessibility standards.
• Incorporate responsive web design techniques into all sites.
• Manage source code using revision‑control software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least four years of experience in web development with relational databases.
• U.S. citizenship due to data‑security requirements.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
