Wealth Advisor, Ultra High Net Worth

About the role

Farther is a rapidly growing RIA combining expert advisors with technology, offering a tailored wealth management experience. It is looking for an experienced Wealth Advisor to deliver high-touch, concierge-level service to its ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, focusing on sophisticated planning strategies rather than business development. The role is hybrid and based in New York.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary advisor for UHNW clients, holding regular meetings to assess evolving financial needs, goals and risk tolerance
• Advise on estate planning, tax optimization, philanthropic giving and intergenerational wealth transfer
• Partner with the investment team on alternative investments such as private equity, venture capital and direct investments
• Coordinate concierge services including bill pay, private aviation, real estate management and family governance support
• Review client portfolios regularly and recommend adjustments as circumstances and markets change
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and fiduciary standards

Required profile

• 7+ years in wealth management serving HNW/UHNW clients in a multi-family office, private bank or elite RIA
• Expertise in tax law, trust structures, estate planning and alternative investments
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients and family members with varying financial literacy
• Series 65 or equivalent registration with a clean U4

Required skills

• Tech-savvy mindset and comfort with modern wealth management platforms
• Bonus points: $50M+ AUM per household, background with tech founders or executives, family governance or philanthropy experience, strong client retention, and credentials such as CFP, CFA, CPA, JD or ChFC
