Washington Therapist - Suicide Prevention & Family Support

About the role

CareMind, part of the Mindoula Health family, is seeking licensed therapists to join a fully remote Suicide Prevention & Family Support program serving youth and families at high risk of suicide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based individual, joint family, and parent/guardian teletherapy for youth (ages 12‑26) using family‑systems frameworks, C‑CBT, DBT skills, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Conduct suicide risk assessments with validated tools (e.g., C‑SSRS), develop safety plans, and lead real‑time crisis stabilization.
• Manage monthly acuity reviews, adjust care frequency, and coordinate with Behavioral Health Support Specialists and the 24/7 crisis response team.
• Maintain high‑integrity clinical documentation for Medicaid Fee‑for‑Service billing and ensure compliance.
• Engage youth and families through video, secure messaging, and interactive safety apps, and track key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related behavioral health field.
• Current Washington Department of Health independent behavioral health license (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
• At least two years of direct experience with adolescents and adults; suicide prevention experience strongly preferred.
• Certified in crisis intervention and familiar with Medicare/Medicaid practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Salary: $90,000/year for Washington residents; $75,000/year for out‑of‑state candidates.
