Warehouse Specialist – Heavy Equipment & Large Forklift

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Specialist to support our heavy‑equipment logistics operations. The role involves coordinating shipping and receiving, handling large parts, and ensuring safe, efficient movement of goods in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping/receiving with Power Unit Group Assembly, hydraulic motor repair, quality management and inside sales.
• Accurately pick and pack orders, process returns and create/follow up freight claims.
• Build, modify and shrink‑wrap crating, label/stencil crates for LTL and flatbed shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory, log all moves, and manage stock locations in SAP.
• Perform cycle counts, prepare bills of lading, schedule LTL carrier pickups and generate UPS/FedEx/DHL labels.
• Execute special customer instructions and other procedures required for stocking and shipping.
• Collaborate with the manager to meet daily priorities and perform end‑of‑day housekeeping tasks.
• Provide support to other positions as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of warehouse/dock experience.
• Ability to lift 35 lb and be forklift certified (large forklift preferred).
• Safety‑first mindset and basic woodworking/crating skills.
• Familiarity with plastic/steel banding equipment and large‑part handling.
• Strong verbal communication and general computer skills, including email (Outlook).
• Detail‑oriented, able to work independently and follow instructions.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (15 K lb lift capacity).
• Overhead crane operation (up to 30 K lb).
• SAP or other ERP system usage.
• Basic woodworking and crating.
• Plastic/steel banding equipment.
• Microsoft Outlook and data‑entry proficiency.

What we offer

• Hourly rate $26‑$29 based on experience.
