About the role

Meijer is hiring a Warehouse Selection Team Member in Lansing. The role covers receiving and shipping of Fresh and Frozen foods, keeping orders and inventory accurate and maintaining product quality and temperature standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy through established processes.
• Work with truck drivers and unloaders on receiving and shipping Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards during safe transfer and storage.
• Follow inventory control practices and complete receiving, order and shipping processes accurately.
• Keep building sanitation standards consistent.
• Practice full safety accountability and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; prior warehouse experience helpful.
• Good attendance and work record.
• Good listening, communication and interpersonal skills, able to build effective work relationships.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer and technology skills.
