About the role

ABB is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for the 3rd shift. The position reports to the Warehouse Manager and covers receiving, stocking and preparing shipments. Candidates must already have authorization to work for ABB in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

  • Verify and stock inventory from vendors and plants, keeping documentation, SKU numbers, quantities and quality accurate.
  • Organize and consolidate bulk inventory, place products in pick zones and resolve stock issues with Inventory Control.
  • Prepare shipments by retrieving specified products, transferring cartons and stacking pallets for loading.
  • Maintain operational standards, meet department quality and productivity expectations and handle additional assigned duties.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Authorization to work for ABB in the U.S.

Required skills

  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to accurately read, comprehend and count inventory.
