Warehouse Equipment Operator (Reach Truck) 3rd Shift

About the role

ABB is hiring a Warehouse Equipment Operator (Reach Truck) for the 3rd shift, reporting to the Warehouse Manager. The role covers receiving, stocking and moving goods within the warehouse, operating certified power industrial equipment, and meeting quality and productivity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and stock incoming products from vendors and plants, checking SKU numbers, quantities and quality, and consolidating identical SKUs in bulk storage.
• Pull and transfer bulk products to pick zones, retrieve items for shipping, and move cartons from shipping lanes to pallets for loading.
• Work with Inventory Control to resolve stock issues.
• Operate power industrial equipment as certified.
• Maintain department quality and productivity standards and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work at heights (3-level modules), lift up to 40 pounds frequently, and stand, walk and climb stairs for long periods.
• Willingness to work overtime with little or no notice.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills with an understanding of distribution operations.
• Ability to read, comprehend and accurately count inventory.
