Warehouse Associate II (2PM-10:30PM)

About the role

Peet's Coffee, part of Keurig Dr Pepper and JDE Peet's, is hiring a Distribution Warehouse Associate II in Alameda. The role reviews day-to-day warehouse operations and acts as a support role for the lead and supervisor, helping train staff during changes to systems or operations in the Roasting Plant and Distribution Center. It reports to the department Team Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Perform warehouse activities such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put-away, cycle counts and inventory audits
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries with transportation representatives
• Research inventory discrepancies for dock and transfers and PO receipts
• Use material handling equipment (pallet movers, stand-up forklifts, high-lift reach trucks, order pickers) and RF scanners
• Conduct daily receiving and location audits and ensure accurate receiving documentation
• Use PC-based WMS for outbound, inbound and inventory control processes
• Communicate with the lead and supervisor about performance, assist in associate relations and help meet department targets

Required profile

• Able to stand and walk, push, pull, squat, bend and reach for 8 hours or more, and lift 20 lbs regularly, 25-40 lbs often and 50+ lbs occasionally
• Available for weekends, nights, overtime and holidays
• Must be 18 years old
• Must be able to work in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Must hold or obtain forklift / powered industrial truck certification
