Warehouse Associate (7AM-3:30PM, M-F)

About the role

GCG, a distributor of industrial automation and connectivity solutions, is looking for a Warehouse Associate in Tempe, AZ. The main tasks are cutting wire to customer orders, picking and packing orders, and helping with general warehouse duties. Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a spooling machine to cut wire to customer specifications
• Pick inventory using sit-down forklifts and tablets
• Pack orders and prepare them for shipment
• Sweep floors, wipe scrap off machinery and dispose of trash
• Cross-train in inventory, shipping, receiving and picking
• Assist with additional duties as needed

Required profile

• Experience in a warehouse or production environment required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and regularly lift 50 lbs
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn with a growing company

Required skills

• Computer literacy required
• Experience operating manufacturing machines is a plus
