VP – Supply Chain Finance Origination (Corporate & Investment Banking)

About the role

Santander is seeking a Vice President to lead the origination of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) transactions within its Corporate & Investment Banking division. The role focuses on U.S. and cross‑border flows, advising clients on working‑capital optimisation across their supply chains.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, price, and execute SCF transactions from origination through closing.
• Act as the primary advisor for clients seeking platform‑based and bespoke working‑capital solutions.
• Collaborate with relationship managers to align business plans and growth strategies.
• Manage an active portfolio, driving revenue and profitability while expanding the existing book.
• Coordinate with internal support functions such as Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to ensure successful deal execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trade finance, supply chain finance, or working‑capital solutions.
• Proven track record in originating new business and managing complex financial transactions.
• Strong independent work ethic with the ability to build and leverage professional relationships.
