VP of Operations – High-Growth DTC Lifestyle Brand (Remote)

About the role

This senior leadership position reports directly to the CEO of a fast‑scaling direct‑to‑consumer lifestyle brand. The VP of Operations will own all non‑marketing functions, building the operational foundation needed to support rapid growth and positioning the company for a future COO role.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and secure Net 60 (or better) payment terms with manufacturers and supply‑chain partners.
• Lead end‑to‑end operations including sourcing, manufacturing, inventory, preorder management, logistics, fulfillment, and customer support.
• Design and implement scalable operational systems, processes, and infrastructure.
• Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, production scheduling, and preorder execution.
• Continuously optimize manufacturing, freight, warehousing, and overall supply‑chain costs.
• Develop strategic relationships with manufacturers, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and fulfillment partners.
• Build, lead, and develop high‑performing Operations and Customer Experience teams.
• Evaluate and implement operational technologies such as ERP and inventory management systems, and create reporting dashboards and KPIs.
• Support international supply‑chain operations and cross‑border fulfillment as the business expands.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior operations leadership within a high‑growth, product‑focused company.
• Demonstrated ability to design and scale operational processes and teams.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
• Track record of improving working capital and reducing supply‑chain costs.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment.
