VP of Marketing

About the role

Read AI is hiring a VP of Marketing to build and lead its first scaled marketing function, turning strong product‑led growth into a repeatable, global growth engine. This senior leader will define the company narrative, scale acquisition, and create systems that convert viral adoption into enterprise expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Define positioning, messaging, and category narrative; act as the quarterback of product marketing.
• Hire and lead PMM, demand generation, content, and design teams; stand up the full marketing stack (paid, lifecycle, SEO/AEO, CRM, analytics).
• Build and optimize paid acquisition channels, improve CAC, conversion, and LTV through experimentation.
• Optimize onboarding, activation, and lifecycle marketing to convert bottoms‑up users into enterprise customers.
• Align product, sales, and marketing to bridge PLG and enterprise GTM motions.
• Own funnel metrics, build dashboards, and drive efficient, scalable growth.

Required profile

• Proven VP‑level (or strong Director ready to step up) experience in high‑growth SaaS or AI.
• Track record shaping category narratives and scaling from organic traction to market leadership.
• Strong operator who can move from strategy to execution quickly and build teams from zero.
• Data‑driven with intuition on growth levers; comfortable with ambiguity.
