VP Financial Controller – North America

About the role

We are partnering with a listed global marketing services group to find a VP Financial Controller for North America. This senior leader will own the region’s finance function, drive a major finance transformation, and ensure rigorous financial reporting in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close and financial reporting for North America, delivering accurate results to the parent company.
• Oversee revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with US GAAP or IFRS and redesign legacy processes.
• Manage payroll, accounts payable, and collaborate with AR/Collections to guarantee billing accuracy.
• Own cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital optimization to strengthen regional liquidity.
• Serve as regional lead for migrating multiple legacy ERPs onto a single global platform.
• Design and implement public‑company‑standard internal controls for transactions and reporting.
• Supervise complex intercompany reconciliations and transfer‑pricing execution.
• Lead a team of 20+ finance professionals, including controllers and accountants.

Required profile

• CPA or CA qualification.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a large global advertising or marketing services organization.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and experience in a publicly traded environment.
• Proven experience leading ERP migration projects and handling detailed general‑ledger data.
