VP Finance / CFO (Industrial Manufacturing)

About the role

The VP Finance/CFO will lead the full finance and accounting function for a lean, high‑performing specialty industrial manufacturing business in the Greater Atlanta Area. This is a hands‑on operating position reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the private‑equity ownership group.

Key responsibilities

• Own all finance and accounting activities, including general ledger, AR/AP, month‑end close, financial reporting, tax, insurance, banking relationships, annual audit, and internal controls.
• Provide timely, accurate analysis of financial performance, variance to plan, and business trends to the CEO and PE owners.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Prepare and present board meeting financial materials and lead investor and lender reviews.
• Oversee value‑based pricing methodologies and develop new pricing initiatives.
• Directly supervise the Controller and accounting staff and manage external finance, tax, and audit relationships.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership for U.S.‑based, capital‑intensive manufacturing businesses.
• Proven ability to translate operational performance into financial insight and drive EBITDA growth.
• Strong strategic partnership skills with CEOs and private‑equity owners.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented mindset with a track record of building high‑performing finance teams.
