Voice Communications Specialist – Remote

About the role

The Voice Communications Specialist joins Cleveland Clinic Health System to ensure seamless telephone communication across the organization. Working remotely, you will answer, route and manage calls using Cisco phone systems while supporting patients, staff and physicians.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, screen and route all incoming and outgoing calls, providing directory assistance and system usage information.
• Place and record local, long‑distance and international calls for doctors and hospital personnel.
• Facilitate conference calls, assist patients with dialing instructions and handle emergency paging procedures.
• Operate telephone equipment such as SL1 backup systems, messaging technology and alpha units, and manage page system program changes.
• Send and receive telex and facsimile messages using CRT equipment.

Required profile

• High School Diploma.
• 1 year of call‑center or telephone operator experience, or 2 years of customer‑service experience.
• Solid understanding of networking/distributed computing concepts and client/server principles.
