Visual Commercial – Retail Merchandising Specialist

About the role

The Visual Commercial is responsible for executing Zara's commercial strategy while maintaining an attractive store image that resonates with the local clientele. You will stay informed on product trends, fashion movements, and competitor activity to ensure the brand’s personality shines through the merchandising layout.

Key responsibilities

• Implement all commercial strategies defined by the company.
• Monitor market news, manage store and warehouse rotations, and optimize product placement.
• Match store space with product assortment to maximize visual impact.
• Support product replenishment and stockroom capacity.
• Analyze product performance, competition and trends to drive actionable improvements.
• Conduct commercial analysis (sales reports, business maps, team communications) to boost results.
• Maintain high‑level customer experience by upholding merchandising standards.
• Provide continuous feedback to the Section Manager and store teams.
• Train and develop the sales team in commercial best practices.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and occupational risk regulations.
• Assist with returns authorization and transaction support as needed.
• Act as a store leader, supporting seamless customer experiences.
