About the role
The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University seeks two Visiting Lecturer faculty members for the fall semester 2026 and spring semester 2027. These full‑time, nine‑month, non‑tenure‑track appointments begin on August 1, 2026 and involve teaching four classes each semester.
Key responsibilities
- Teach four undergraduate mathematics courses per semester.
- Develop and update course materials, assignments, and examinations.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Advise and mentor students on academic matters.
- Participate in departmental service activities as needed.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated college‑level teaching experience in mathematics.
- Ability to teach a range of undergraduate mathematics courses.
