Virtual Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Day Shift

About the role

We are seeking a full-time, day‑shift Registered Nurse to provide virtual care to patients in Tyler, Texas. As a remote member of UT Health East Texas, you will deliver nursing assessments, education, and coordination of care through digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and interventions for assigned patients via telehealth interfaces.
• Manage multiple technology platforms to document care, communicate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain patient safety.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement care plans remotely.

Required profile

• Current RN license (compact license acceptable) in the state of Texas.
• Minimum three years of medical/surgical inpatient nursing experience.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using telehealth and electronic health record systems.
• Strong ability to multitask across multiple digital platforms.
