Violin Teacher (Part-time)

About the role

Ensemble Schools is looking for a fun, experienced, and professional violin instructor to teach part‑time at The Music Shop in Boonton, New Jersey. The role involves in‑person private lessons for violin (and optionally viola) to students of various ages.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one violin instruction and, when qualified, viola lessons.
• Set and maintain a consistent teaching schedule within the shop’s open hours.
• Ensure punctuality and reliable transportation for each lesson.
• Follow school policies and successfully pass a routine background check.

Required profile

• Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching young musicians.
• Strong punctuality and reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to pass a routine background check.
