Part-Time Voice Teacher (In-Person)

About the role

Ensemble Schools is looking for a part-time, in-person Voice Teacher to join The Music Shop in Boonton, New Jersey. The instructor will deliver private voice lessons to students of various ages and skill levels, working within the school’s open hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one voice instruction to students in a studio setting.
• Set and maintain a consistent teaching schedule that aligns with school hours.
• Prepare lesson plans and track student progress.
• Ensure punctual arrival for each lesson and maintain reliable transportation.
• Complete a routine background check prior to start date.

Required profile

• Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and experience working with young musicians.
• Strong sense of punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.
