About the role

The Vice President – Product Control, Market Risk for Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) is responsible for overseeing market data quality and ensuring accurate risk metrics and reporting. This senior position plays a critical role in risk analysis, data certification, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily review, maintenance, and certification of market data accuracy (EOD certification from 3‑8 PM).
• Create market data time series and historical reconstructions for VAR reporting.
• Review and configure market and static data across multiple platforms.
• Liaise with various teams to resolve market data discrepancies.
• Monitor risk exposure and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Identify, manage, and report on daily market data processes and workflows.
• Provide quantitative support for market data development and risk remediation.
• Oversee short‑term projects and coordinate system upgrades with support teams.
• Test and improve risk reporting systems for efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong background in market data management and risk analysis within a banking environment.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and internal control frameworks.
