Vice President of Project Delivery (Hybrid)

About the role

The Vice President of Project Delivery reports to the President and leads growth and delivery of integrated technical solutions for Chinook. This hybrid role is based in Arlington, VA, with travel to client sites and up to 40% CONUS/OCONUS travel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for planning, execution, and delivery of projects across all business lines, aligning with strategic objectives and client expectations.
• Develop and enforce enterprise-wide project delivery standards, governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
• Lead project controls, scheduling, risk management, quality assurance, financial management, and operational execution.
• Establish and achieve revenue, profitability, utilization, and performance targets.
• Partner with Business Development and Executive Leadership on pursuit strategies, proposals, and contract negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 20+ years of progressive experience leading large‑scale engineering, construction, or federal technical project delivery organizations.
• 10+ years of senior executive leadership overseeing project delivery and operational performance.
• Extensive knowledge of project delivery methodologies, program management, engineering, construction, and federal contract management.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Project, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems, Project Management and Business Intelligence platforms.
• PMP certification (preferred).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
