Vice President of Operations – Soft Craft Construction

About the role

The Vice President of Operations will lead and scale field operations for a market‑leading scaffolding business across North America. Reporting to the executive leadership team, this senior role oversees multi‑site execution, safety, productivity and customer satisfaction in fast‑paced, project‑based environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop operational teams across multiple locations.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity and on‑time project delivery.
• Implement scalable operating processes and KPI frameworks.
• Partner with commercial, sales and executive stakeholders to improve margin performance.
• Support workforce planning, labour strategy and resource allocation.
• Manage continuous‑improvement initiatives across the business.

Required profile

• Senior operations leadership experience within soft‑craft construction.
• Background in scaffolding, access solutions, insulation, fire‑proofing, drywall, painting or flooring.
• Proven track record leading distributed, field‑based teams.
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance and customer outcomes.
• Comfortable operating at VP level with executive stakeholder exposure.
• Commercially minded, safety‑focused and process‑driven.

What we offer

• Base salary range: $250,000 – $275,000 per year.
