Vice President of Manufacturing Operations – Aerospace & Defense

About the role

The company, a global leader in precision‑engineered components for aerospace, defense and advanced industrial markets, seeks a Vice President of Manufacturing Operations. Reporting to the executive team, you will oversee multiple operating divisions, drive profitability, and champion continuous improvement across a multi‑site footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership for assigned business units, ensuring cost efficiency and margin optimization.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives across all manufacturing sites, focusing on production performance, supply‑chain management and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and execute growth strategies, identify market expansion opportunities and foster strategic partnerships.
• Build high‑performing, cross‑functional teams, promote a culture of accountability and succession readiness.
• Provide data‑driven performance reporting and strategic insights to the executive leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required); MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of progressive leadership experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Proven track record managing multi‑site operations and diverse product portfolios in highly regulated environments.
