Vice President of Finance

About the role

We are partnering with a mid‑market services firm that is scaling its finance organization to support continued growth and operational maturity. Reporting to the CFO, the Vice President of Finance will lead day‑to‑day finance operations and act as a senior finance partner to operating leadership across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily finance operations, including monthly close, financial reporting, and management of the operating finance team.
• Partner with the CFO on enterprise financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
• Lead financial aspects of operating reviews, such as monthly business reviews, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
• Build and develop the operating finance team, including financial managers, analysts, and business partners.
• Drive financial discipline across the organization, covering budget accountability, working capital management, and ROI tracking on operational investments.
• Serve as the senior finance advisor to operating leaders on decisions that impact business performance.

Required profile

• 12+ years of finance leadership experience, including VP Finance, Director of Finance, or senior controller roles.
• Track record in a growth‑stage services firm or private‑equity‑backed environment (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (required); CPA or MBA preferred.
• U.S. based with willingness to travel as needed.

What we offer

• Base salary ranging from $225,000 to $325,000 per year.
• Annual performance bonus.
