Vice President of Finance

About the role

An award‑winning boutique investment bank headquartered in Buckhead, GA is seeking a Vice President of Finance. This high‑visibility leadership position will partner directly with the executive team to drive strategic decision‑making and bring financial discipline to a rapidly scaling business.

Key responsibilities

• Own full FP&A function including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow modeling and performance analytics.
• Produce monthly reporting, variance analysis and insights for partners and senior leadership.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll review, expense workflows and internal controls.
• Manage an Accounting Manager and coordinate with third‑party administrators.
• Ensure audit readiness, develop policies and optimize finance processes.
• Lead financial systems and business intelligence initiatives.
• Support regulated affiliate oversight and co‑investment fund operations.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of finance/accounting experience in professional services, investment banking or asset management.
• Proven track record leading budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Experience building or scaling finance functions.
• Strong analytical ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Executive‑level communication skills and comfort working with senior leadership.
• Process‑oriented, detail‑driven and highly accountable.
