Vice President, Network Economics & Value Optimization

About the role

Mastercard’s Global Network Economics and Value Optimization (NEVO) team is seeking a Vice President to lead the design, development and rollout of innovative pricing approaches across its payment products. The role combines strategic economic analysis with cross‑functional collaboration to drive revenue growth and market‑leading value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of pricing strategies for diverse payment products and emerging use cases.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing trends and growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain sophisticated pricing models, including sensitivity, cost‑benefit and scenario analyses.
• Apply data analysis and statistical methods to uncover value drivers, segment customers and optimize pricing structures.
• Partner with product management, operations, legal and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution of pricing initiatives.
• Present complex financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Monitor industry regulations, trends and best practices in the payments sector.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing pricing team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pricing strategy, economics or revenue optimization within the payments or financial services industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for influencing senior stakeholders.
• Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams.
