Vice President, Corporate Strategy

About the role

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a strategic, innovative, and results‑oriented Vice President of Corporate Strategy to shape the company’s long‑term direction and resilience in a competitive market. Reporting to the Vice President of Enterprise Strategy and Business Development, you will lead the development, communication, and execution of key strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior business leaders to define strategic questions, scope analyses, allocate resources, and oversee execution.
• Lead high‑impact projects mandated by the Board or Executive Committee, including market entry, growth, and portfolio strategies.
• Develop competitive intelligence and embed competitive strategy across business units.
• Define and manage the strategic planning process, long‑range planning, and strategy reviews for the Executive Committee and Board.
• Deliver rigorous financial and quantitative analyses to answer critical business questions.
• Create and present concise, defect‑free PowerPoint decks for senior executives, the Executive Committee, and Board members.
• Mentor junior team members and streamline strategy team processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading strategic projects and influencing senior leadership.
