Vice President, Corporate Controller

About the role

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation seeks a Vice President, Corporate Controller to join its global finance leadership team in Oak Brook, Illinois. Reporting to the CFO, this executive will drive accounting excellence, internal controls, and finance transformation across a multi‑site manufacturing and distribution organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting for a $1B+ revenue business, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly and annual results.
• Establish and maintain a world‑class internal control environment and oversee audit committee, statutory and ownership reporting packages.
• Partner with IT and finance leaders on ERP enhancements, automation initiatives and finance‑transformation projects.
• Drive risk assessments, remediation efforts and compliance with U.S. GAAP, regulatory standards and corporate governance policies.
• Support M&A activities, including due‑diligence, purchase accounting and integration of acquired entities.
• Build, mentor and retain a high‑performing global accounting organization, creating succession and leadership development plans.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience in public, private‑equity‑backed or large privately held companies.
• Proven track record leading accounting organizations supporting $1B+ revenue businesses, with deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, consolidations and technical accounting.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution or engineered solutions environments and in leading large‑scale audits.
• CPA certification required; MBA or master’s degree preferred.
